How do I scan a paper menu?
Take clear photos of related menu sections. One recognition can analyze a batch of up to 5 images and combine them into one result.
How do I use a QR menu?
Open the Chinese ordering page in WeChat, Alipay, or the restaurant system. Screenshot the dishes you are considering and upload them here.
What does a menu result explain?
It can show a clear English dish explanation, likely ingredients, common preparation, and taste. Add a Food Profile if you also want personalized guidance for your preferences, dietary needs, or allergies.
What do Better, Ask, Avoid, and Unknown mean?
Better means likely a better option, but not a certainty. Ask means the dish needs confirmation from restaurant staff. Avoid means it likely conflicts with your restrictions. Unknown means there is not enough information to judge.
What should severe allergy users do?
Confirm directly with restaurant staff and avoid dishes that cannot be clearly confirmed. Cross-contact may still be possible.
Can this app decide for me?
No. It gives guidance and Chinese questions to ask staff. Restaurants may change ingredients or share cooking equipment.
Do I need an account?
No. Use your purchase email and a one-time verification code to find an order on another device. A Recovery Code is also provided as a backup. No password is required.
Do you offer refunds?
Purchases are generally final after the digital pass is delivered, except where required by law, Waffo's merchant-of-record obligations, or our Refund Policy. Contact support if a verified technical failure prevented delivery or use.
